
Slopeside apps don’t get any better than the vittles dished up by Café Diva at the base of the mountain (expect to see patrons in their ski boots). Favorites include Crispy Winter Squash and Sunny Breeze Farms Cheese Manicotti, with sage pesto, white truffle oil and balsamic reduction; Duck “Sloppy Joe” Siders, with maytag blue cheese, brioche and mâche; Mini Crab Cakes with horseradish-tarragon tartar; and our favorite, Peanut Butter and Bacon Sandwiches, served with Asian-braised Niman Ranch Pork Belly, Thai Peanut sauce and sriracha chili sauce. If you can’t decide on a wine, revel in the liberal 2-ounce sample pour.
