Extra Special Condos in Aspen and Snowmass

Aspen Downtown at Night

While the promise of leaving day-to-day life at home appeals to most planning a ski vacation, you don’t have to leave the luxuries of home behind when visiting Aspen. These luxurious condominium hotels have the accoutrements that make home comfortable combined with the location that make Aspen your desired destination. Here are a few that top the lists.

Located in the heart of downtown Aspen—just steps from the gondola, shopping, dinning, and nightlife—are two family-friendly condominiums worth checking out: The Gant and The Innsbruck.

The Gant has been a cornerstone of family memories for generations. It’s uncanny how many people associate their ski vacation with their stay at The Gant. This iconic condominium set the standard in Aspen, and continues to live up to its reputation. A recently finished $7.5 million renovation reverberates through every inch of the condominium hotel. From beautifully manicured gardens and a high-tech snowmelt system to new artwork decorating the walls, The Gant pulled out the stops with the most recent facelift. The Gant’s level of “deluxe” seems to rise every year. Now, you can request a stocked fridge of your favorite après-ski treats prior to arriving, HD televisions and Wii systems are available in some condos, and complimentary shuttles and valet services are par for the course.

Following in The Gant’s footsteps, The Innsbruck—located on Main Street in Aspen—has two and three bedroom condominiums to choose from. Built upon getting the best bang for your buck, The Innsbruck’s two bedroom condos can easily accommodate families of six (thanks to the comfortable leather couch that doubles as a queen-size bed). There isn’t a better way (aside from time at Remède spa) to relax after a day on the slopes than stretching and soaking in the massive steam shower/Jacuzzi tub. If a mellow night in and a home cooked meal are on tap, the full kitchen in each Innsbruck condo is perfect. However, you can trust Andre Nichols, the concierge at The Innsbruck, to set up an unforgettable night in Aspen if you’re in the mood for a “meal to remember.”

If you’re hoping to stay slopeside at Aspen Highlands, the Ritz-Carlton Club Residence brings its undisputed reputation right to the snow. You can’t get any closer to Highland Bowl than the three bedroom ski-in, ski-out condos at the base of Highlands. Should you want to put your families ski holiday “on the Ritz,” so to speak, there are rentals available.

Chamonix Condos and the Woodbridge are just two examples of the condominium accommodations available for families looking to make the most of their time in Snowmass. Both are located right on Assay Hill—the perfect place for newbie skiers and snowboarders to practice their turns before heading up.

The condos at Chamonix and Woodbridge are truly ski-in, ski-out. Each Chamonix unit has a washer and dryer and wood-burning fireplace; in addition, a slopeside hot tub and pool, underground parking, and exercise facilities add another luxurious dimension. Woodbridge, like Snowmass Mountain, claims its bread and butter is the family ski holiday, and your family will be right next to everything happening at the new Snowmass Base Village (such as s’mores at The Sweet Life and big air competitions on the snow).

Five-star hotels are a priority for some, and Aspen has enough of those. But Aspen also has a number of terrific options for families looking to ski and stay together, create memories, and feel right at home.
