There’s a reason downtown’s Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant at 628 Lincoln Ave. enforces a three-margarita limit; any more and you’d likely be spinning like the freestylers in the terrain park, and missing the next morning on the slopes. While the recipe is “top secret,” the punch comes from a potent portion of Cuervo Gold. “The limit’s been in place since the first restaurant opened 23 years ago,” says manager Krissy Olick. “They’re pretty strong.” They’re available on the rocks or frozen, in lime, strawberry, mango or raspberry flavors for $6.75, or just five bucks during Happy Hour from 4-6.
